Job summary

P2S|CMTA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support pre-design and design phases on large projects across a diverse portfolio, including healthcare, higher education, commercial buildings, and critical infrastructure. You will lead electrical design efforts and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team.

The role requires a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit, ETAP/SKM. This hybrid position in Seattle offers competitive pay and an annual bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead electrical design projects
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Experience using AutoCAD and Revit required
• Familiarity with ETAP and/or SKM for power systems studies preferred; ramp-up support available
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Familiarity with Title 24, LEED, BIM coordination workflows, and backup power systems is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on large commercial/institutional projects
• Mentor junior design engineers and guide technical challenges
• Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, telecom, civil, structural and architectural teams
• Prepare and review electrical calculations and diagrams
• Oversee design for medium to large projects and ensure code compliance
• Support construction administration with RFIs and submittals
