Job summary

Taj Staffing is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with 7–12 years of consulting engineering experience to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team. This hybrid role requires working in the office four days a week with one remote day.

You will prepare electrical plans, design systems, and ensure code compliance across sectors like industrial and healthcare. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional electrical engineering experience required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and energy codes and standards.
• Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical and lighting plans and specifications.
• Design power distribution systems, including medium-voltage.
• Perform electrical modeling and analysis using relevant software.
• Coordinate electrical designs with architects and contractors.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge sharing.
