Job summary

Strategic Mission Critical seeks a Senior Level Electrical Engineer to direct electrical design for mission critical data center projects. You will lead design efforts, interface with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure high-quality deliverables while coordinating with clients and project leads.

The role emphasizes growth of electrical expertise internally, development of design standards, and rigorous quality control practices, with opportunities to mentor others and participate in project

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in facility electrical design, with Revit knowledge.
• Experience in electrical design for large industrial/commercial buildings; mission critical is a strong plus.
• Experience performing power studies (Neher-McGrath, short circuit, coordination, arc flash).
• Experience across schematic design through construction administration, including submittals, shop drawings and field surveys.
• Experience leading electrical design teams and interfacing with clients.

Responsibilities

• Direct and execute electrical design for mission critical projects.
• Coordinate with internal/external disciplines for electrical connections.
• Lead design teams and mentor engineers, designers, and modelers.
• Produce design documents using Revit and other tools.
• Ensure project deadlines and travel as needed (10–20%).
• Interface with clients to communicate effectively.
