Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and perform design with advanced engineering knowledge. You will mentor engineers and serve as technical advisor across projects in electrical power, lighting, and systems.

Flexible work location options include Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; Virginia Beach, VA; or Macon, GA, with opportunities to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and engage with clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited engineering program.
• 10 or 12+ years of experience in a leadership role with an Electrical Engineering firm or a multi-discipline Architectural & Engineering firm with substantial knowledge of applicable energy codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for multiple concurrent projects and tasks for your discipline.
• Mentor and coach other engineers to advance their technical knowledge.
• Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of engineering work within project scope.
• Prepare or lead the preparation of engineering documents, technical reports, memos, etc.
• Evaluate and improve discipline workflows and standard operating procedures for efficiency.
• Coordinate with team members across disciplines to meet deadlines and budget.
