Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical architecture, development, and validation of machine vision and compute devices for automotive and industrial applications. You will work with product and operations teams to translate challenges into robust hardware solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in electrical or computer engineering.
• 7+ years in electrical architecture and development of consumer/industrial/automotive electronics.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, Cadence).
• Experience designing complex embedded electronics architectures and interconnections (SoCs, MCUs, FPGAs, DRAM, storage, high-speed interfaces).
• Experience writing technical documents, project plans, and progress reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead electronic system design projects from concept through production.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize project requirements across teams.
• Architect and optimize electrical modules and systems for manufacturability, testability, reliability, and cost.
• Develop electrical schematics and oversee PCBAs including layout and component placement.
• Perform circuit simulations and develop electrical test plans for bring-up and validation.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement mitigation strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and manufacturing partners.
