Job summary

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Dallas is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead hardware development across defense programs, owning technical execution from development through production and sustainment.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with program managers and suppliers, define system architectures for missiles, launchers, and sensors, and drive root-cause investigations and design improvements while maintaining cost, schedule, and performance.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering; MS/PhD preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in electrical hardware design.
• Experience with aerospace hardware development.
• Ability to read complex schematics for CCAs.
• US citizen with ability to obtain secret clearance.
• Proven IPT leadership and program presentation skills.
• US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering efforts across development, production, and sustainment.
• Guide subsystem suppliers and ensure hardware meets specs.
• Coordinate across prime contracts and manage changes.
• Develop system architectures and interfaces for missiles, launchers, and sensors.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence.
