Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Baton Rouge to lead electrical engineering work for industrial projects and ensure delivery within scope, schedule and budget. You will provide technical guidance, coordinate with process, instrumentation, mechanical, piping, and automation teams, and support procurement and commissioning.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in electrical design for industrial facilities, familiarity with HV/LV systems, and the ability to mentor junior

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering electrical engineering on industrial projects (e.g., energy, mining, chemicals, power, infrastructure).
• Experience in vendor selection and technical evaluations.
• Familiarity with process safety and operability considerations (HAZOP/LOPA where electrical interfaces with safety functions).

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering activities on assigned projects, ensuring scope, schedule and budget compliance.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated project delivery.
• Support procurement, construction and commissioning activities including BOM reviews and technical bid evaluations.
• Develop and review electrical deliverables and engineering work packages.
• Mentor intermediate and junior engineers and designers.
• Proactively identify technical issues and escalate when needed.
