Job summary

Air Liquide, a world leader in industrial gases, seeks an Electrical Engineer for the Baton Rouge, LA area in our Sales group. You will own electrical work package designs, ensure safety, quality, and cost targets, and coordinate with procurement and construction teams across projects.

You will leverage 7+ years of electrical engineering experience to design single-line diagrams, protection schemes, and lighting systems while supporting proposals and on-site execution.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience in electrical design: single line metering, protection diagrams, substations and switchgear.
• Experience in fabrication or development activities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and validate electrical technical design (S/L metering, protection diagrams, substation, switchgear, lighting).
• Provide technical requirements to procurement and review vendor documents.
• Review and approve project changes for discipline.
• Support proposal development with technical solutions and estimates.
• Provide site assistance and field support to construction teams.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and procurement/planning.
• Deliver discipline-specific technical solutions and outputs.
