Job summary

TKDA seeks a Senior Professional Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design for industrial facilities and site power distribution across the country. You will scope, plan, and guide electrical teams, including control systems and reports, while mentoring junior engineers.

You’ll collaborate with Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, and Structural teams, participate in proposals with senior leadership, and manage risk, quality, and safety from concept to construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• PE with 10+ years of progressive technical design experience in industrial facility/site power distribution, lighting, and control/signal systems.
• 2+ years managing electrical or multi-disciplinary projects with service fees exceeding $300,000/year.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SKM Power Tools, and MS Office.
• Experience coordinating design standards across disciplines (Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, Structural).
• Construction administration experience, including observation and inspection.
• Strong communication skills, comfortable writing specs, preparing reports, and leading project discussions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering side of projects, developing site plans, power/signal/lighting plans, equipment layouts, and one-lines.
• Support construction administration, observing construction, and ensuring conformance to plans and specs.
• Mentor less experienced team members and contribute to proposal development and client presentations.
