Job summary

Woolpert is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical engineering work on complex projects and guide design teams across building power, lighting, and MV distribution. The role supports in-person, hybrid, or remote work arrangements, with a requirement for PE licensure and extensive project leadership experience.

Qualifications

• PE licensure required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering.
• 10+ years leading engineering projects.
• Experience in building power systems and lighting design.
• LEED/green building credentials preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering work on complex projects.
• Track scope, schedule, and fee.
• Oversee technical reviews and high-quality deliverables.
• Guide models, plans, drawings per established standards.
• Lead electrical design for systems including MV distribution, microgrids, PV, battery systems, building power, lighting, and LV systems.
• Perform SKM analysis and photometric calculations.
• Mentor team members and support skill development.
• Deliver presentations at conferences and meetings.
• Coordinate QA/QC and cross-discipline reviews.
