Job summary

Core States Group is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our Power Systems team. You will produce electrical design documents, perform analyses, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver compliant, constructible solutions for client projects.

Ideal candidates have a PE, a Bachelor’s in electrical engineering, 5+ years of power systems experience, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SKM PowerTools. Remote or hybrid work options are available in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
• PE license required or in process.
• 5+ years of electrical power systems design experience.
• Experience with commercial projects (retail, data center, industrial).
• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and SKM PowerTools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical design plans, calculations, reports, and construction documents with limited direction.
• Resolve complex electrical design challenges related to power distribution, lighting, and code compliance.
• Conduct site feasibility research and site visit investigations.
• Generate reports and recommendations based on findings.
• Coordinate the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout design and contract phases.
• Lead and mentor electrical staff with technical guidance and feedback.
• Review work for accuracy, coordination, and quality.
