Job summary

Woolpert, Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role supports full-time work in-person, hybrid, or remote arrangements across US offices, leading complex electrical projects and mentoring staff.

Required PE certification, 10+ years leading projects, and expertise in building power systems, LED lighting, and MV distribution. Travel to sites may be required; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or MA/MS in related field and fifteen years related experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) certification required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience leading engineering projects.
• Experience in building power systems, lighting design, medium-voltage distribution.
• Experience with sustainable building systems (LEED or similar).
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering technical work for complex projects.
• Track project progress: scope, schedule, and fee.
• Oversee technical review and deliverables.
• Guide models, plans, drawings to standards and modeling techniques.
• Design electrical systems including LV, MV, PV, microgrids, and lighting.
• Mentor staff; support career development.
