Job summary
Solaris Energy Infrastructure, Inc. is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to provide senior leadership for hybrid power generation systems, including gas turbines and large-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS).
The role focuses on design through commissioning, mentoring engineers, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of safe, reliable electrical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will oversee technical deliverables, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage vendors, and ensure grid
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- PE license strongly preferred.
- 8+ years in electrical/project engineering for gas turbine, BESS, or hybrid systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering activities for gas turbine and BESS projects.
- Mentor project engineers and designers across multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop and review specs, diagrams, and construction deliverables to IEEE/NEC/NERC/NFPA standards.
- Perform power system studies and performance modeling using ETAP/SKM/PSCAD/DIgSILENT.
