Job summary

ON.energy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – Battery Systems, Controls & EMS Integration to lead design, validation, and optimization of utility-scale BESS projects for data centers and grid applications. You will drive battery sizing, evaluate technologies, validate inverter performance, and integrate EMS, Plant Controllers, and SCADA to deliver reliable energy storage solutions.

Reporting to the Chief Electrical Engineer, this hybrid role requires strong engineering analysis,

Qualifications

• 8+ years electrical engineering with battery systems and EMS/Plant Controller integration.
• Deep knowledge of battery sizing, lifecycle modeling, controls validation, and BESS vendor model review (PSCAD/MATLAB).
• Experience with SCADA configuration and energy storage deployments.
