SSOE is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to shape advanced industrial facilities for leading clients. You will collaborate with clients and engineering teams to ensure projects meet industry standards and budget targets, with a role that includes client-facing duties and potential ownership opportunities.

The position offers a hybrid work schedule and may allow for remote work per policy. A bachelor’s degree and 10+ years’ related experience are required, with strong licensing and design

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering with full professional registration required.
• Ten or more years of related practical experience; industrial manufacturing facilities design experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required; license may be waived for international assignments.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate large engineering assignments with budget and schedule adherence; civil/discipline coordination and stamping of drawings as applicable.
• Plan and develop engineering projects involving unique or controversial problems with specialized knowledge.
• Maintain liaison with internal and external stakeholders on technical matters.
• Supervise and review work of engineers and designers on assigned projects.
• Engage in client contact and business development; prepare or supervise contract proposals and presentations.
• Meet with clients to define scope, monitor progress, and ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure ongoing professional education as required by states.
• Travel required.
