Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our NYC team on a hybrid schedule at One Penn Plaza. You will apply extensive engineering experience to solve complex building services challenges.

The role requires a NY P.E. license, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years in a corporate setting, and proficiency in Revit and 3D CAD. You will design lighting, perform load analyses, prepare drawings and energy calculations, and coordinate with other engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Active New York Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• United States Citizenship.
• At least 10 years of experience in a corporate electrical engineering setting.
• Proficiency in Revit and 3D CAD.
• Independent initiative, problem-solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design and calculations for lighting systems and controls.
• Prepare load analyses for design stages.
• Create drawings detailing the system and basis of design reports.
• Document energy compliance calculations and forms.
• Select equipment and fixtures for building projects.
• Coordinate work with engineers and architects across disciplines.
