Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for diverse projects in the nuclear sector. You will lead CAD-based schematics, assist with safety circuits, and support commissioning and testing with internal and external engineers.

The role offers hybrid working with 3 days in the Oxfordshire office and 2 days remote, plus an annual bonus and life assurance. This is a challenging, varied position with strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical engineering focusing on design, safety circuits and LV systems.
• Experience delivering electrical system designs for complex machinery incl. remote handling and robotics.
• Proficient use of electrical CAD tools such as Trimble Amtech, PAScal and SEE.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system designs for complex machinery and remote handling projects.
• Produce schematics and hook-ups using CAD software.
• Perform risk assessments and hazard analyses for projects.
• Support commissioning and in-house testing activities.
• Collaborate with internal and external engineering staff.
