Job summary

Repsol in Downtown Houston is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee substation and transmission line projects, perform studies, and coordinate HV automation system delivery for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind assets.

You will work within multi-disciplinary teams to develop efficient and reliable collection, substation, and transmission line designs. The position offers a hybrid work model: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering with PE license.
• 7+ years of relevant technical experience.
• Experience with large utility-scale solar and wind projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of substation and transmission line project design and studies.
• Coordinate and deliver automation systems for HV scopes of work.
• Guide engineers to align with Repsol deliverables.
• Provide electrical, HV, collection system, and substation support.
• Review design documentation and project records for accuracy.
