Repsol is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer for utility-scale PV Solar and Wind projects in Downtown Houston with a hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 from home). You will design, develop, and oversee technical studies, specifications, and drawings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative renewable energy solutions.

The role requires a Master’s in civil engineering, 5+ years in renewables, a US PE license, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, PVcase, and Python.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of experience in the design and execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects (PV, BESS, Wind).
• PE license in at least one US state.
• Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and PVcase, focusing on site plan layout, grading and coordination with other disciplines.
• Proficiency in Python for civil engineering applications and data analysis.

Aufgaben

• Supervise engineering teams in conducting feasibility studies, preparing technical drawings, and generating detailed engineering reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely, cost‑effective project delivery.
• Lead quality assurance for civil works, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Review, update, and develop internal engineering standards for integration into project workflows.
• Participate in on‑site, field, and virtual meetings with contractors to provide expert engineering support and guidance.
• Assess site development designs to identify cost‑saving measures and optimize construction methods.
• Conduct detailed constructability reviews to anticipate and resolve issues before construction begins.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation including design calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
