Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our San Francisco or Los Angeles offices, focusing on Healthcare project delivery. You will lead electrical design, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and drive project execution to meet client goals.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of electrical engineering experience, knowledge of US codes, and proficiency with Revit MEP, PowerTools, and AmpCalc. PE license is highly preferred and may be pursued within the first year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional electrical engineering experience with data center focus.
• PE license in the US is preferred and can be obtained within one year.
• Strong knowledge of US codes and standards for electrical design.
• Experience with Revit MEP for 3D BIM.
• Experience with PowerTools and AmpCalc.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for Healthcare projects and coordinate with multiple disciplines.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables with PMs and clients.
• Present technical material to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on assignments.
• Stay current with industry trends, especially data center electrical systems and digital integration.
• Support construction phase activities including submittals and RFIs.
