Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 8+ years of professional electrical engineering experience with data center focus.
• US PE license preferred or ability to obtain within one year of joining Arup.
• Strong knowledge of US codes, standards, and data center electrical system design.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design efforts for data center projects, ensuring client requirements and standards are met.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines for seamless project integration and deliverables.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables with project managers and clients.
• Present technical material clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Prepare and review work assignments, and provide mentoring to junior engineers.
• Deliver timely feedback and support professional development within the team.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to data center electrical systems.
• Support construction phase activities, including submittal review, RFIs, and site visits.
