Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in the Inland Empire, CA or Downtown Los Angeles to lead design efforts and act as project manager for moderate to complex projects. You will oversee electrical systems design, provide engineering solutions, and manage project direction with limited senior staff support.

Required are a BS in Electrical Engineering and a PE license, with 7+ years in the building design consulting field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in building design consulting.
• Strong knowledge of circuit theory, power systems and electronics relevant to electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for electrical systems analysis and development per IMEG standards.
• Perform site assessments and generate detailed analyses and technical reports.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and build relationships.
• Mentor staff and ensure quality control of project deliverables.
• Travel up to 20% and participate in project interviews and presentations.
