Job summary

IMEG Corp in Inland Empire/Los Angeles area seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design efforts for electrical systems in education and public projects. You will drive project direction, perform engineering analyses, and ensure design quality across disciplines while mentoring staff.

The role emphasizes client collaboration, adherence to safety and IMEG standards, and participation in project interviews and presentations within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 7+ years in building design consulting; 8+ preferred.
• Strong knowledge of power systems, circuit theory, and electronics in electrical systems.
• Experience with illumination standards and reference resources (IES, NFPA, MadCAD, FGI).
• Master Specification editing and software such as eSPECS; proficient with Adobe or Bluebeam Revu.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for electrical systems analysis and detailed design documents.
• Perform site assessments and generate technical reports.
• Engage with clients to understand needs and maintain relationships.
• Review designs, calculations, specs, and project correspondence; enforce IMEG QC processes.
• Mentor, train, and motivate staff; provide technical support with limited senior staff.
• Stay current with industry trends and contribute to R&D and innovation.
