Amentum is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for the SFHP Project in Idaho Falls, ID. The role focuses on delivering design aspects, supporting procurement, construction, testing and commissioning, and mentoring engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a PE license in Idaho (or able to obtain within six months), ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree, and 10+ years of relevant experience across project phases with strong communication skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years engineering experience including major project management responsibilities.
• Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization; US Citizenship required.
• Experience across problem formulation, system design, data collection, analysis and documentation.
• Strong written and oral communication; detail-oriented with solid organizational skills.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Idaho or able to obtain within six months.

Responsabilidades

• Review and check electrical design deliverables from design teams.
• Estimate hours for scope changes and outline schedules for the discipline.
• Support design reviews and contribute to technical development of team members.
• Produce department procedures, work instructions, design guides, and templates.
• Balance scope, schedule, and budget to ensure project success.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary project team.
