Job description

Seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and execution of electrical systems for semiconductor facilities, cleanrooms, laboratories, mission-critical environments, and advanced industrial projects. The role requires technical leadership, client interaction, design oversight, and construction support.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering and design for facility power distribution, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage communication systems
• Develop construction drawings, technical specifications, and bid packages
• Perform load flow, voltage drop, arc flash, and short-circuit studies
• Review electrical equipment selections, vendor submittals, and design packages
• Supervise and mentor designers and junior engineers
• Serve as Electrical Discipline Lead and quality reviewer
• Coordinate with owners, contractors, architects, structural, and mechanical teams
• Support construction activities, field inspections, and punch walks
• Participate in proposal development and client presentations
• Provide solutions for complex engineering challenges in fast‑paced project environments

Required Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering
• Active PE License with ability to obtain Idaho PE
• 12+ years of electrical design experience for building systems
• Strong knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70)
• Experience with power distribution systems and electrical calculations

• Ability to work onsite in Boise, ID
