Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Roy, UT, seeks a Staff Electrical Engineer to support the Sentinel program. You will lead electrical design and integration activities across facilities, coordinate with vendors, and deliver engineering artifacts.

Requires a STEM degree and 12+ years of experience (or 10+ with a master’s or 8+ with a PhD), US citizenship, and a DoD Secret clearance. Strong leadership and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 12+ years of experience, or 10+ years with a master’s, or 8+ years with a PhD.
• US Citizenship with an active DoD Secret Clearance and ability to obtain SAP approval.
• Experience leading cross-organizational collaboration and formal management elements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical design/analysis (cable/harness, distribution boxes) per scope of work.
• Coordinate with vendors/suppliers and review engineering deliverables (schematics, wiring diagrams).
• Support development and delivery of PDP, ADP, interface models, CDRLs, SDRLs, and other artifacts.
• Ensure design/analysis quality by applying processes and procedures.
• Brief leadership and stakeholders on design/analysis artifacts and status.
