Job summary
Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer for the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. You will lead electrical design efforts, coordinate with multiple teams and suppliers, and develop comprehensive design packages under a Secret clearance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years experience, or Master’s with 2 years, or PhD with 0 years.
- US citizen with active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Knowledge of MIL-SPECs, IEEE, NEC, NESC, NFPA, IEC, UFC.
- Experience with ground power systems, cables, and PCB/EDA documentation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee electrical design for Sentinel program components across facilities.
- Coordinate with design and integration teams to ensure coverage and traceability.
- Develop PDPs/ADPs and manage their review and release.
- Review schematics, wiring diagrams, and data sheets for accuracy.
- Lead technical discussions in internal and supplier meetings.
- Lead or participate in trade studies and design analyses.
