Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer/Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer for the Sentinel program in Roy, Utah. The role requires active DoD Secret clearance and strong leadership, electrical design, and cable/harness expertise.

You will develop PDPs/ADPs, review electrical schematics, and coordinate across design teams. The position offers relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5+ years of experience, or Master’s with 2+ years, or PhD with 0+ years.
Experience with electrical architecture and cable/harness design.
Familiarity with IEC/IEEE/UL and related military standards.

Responsibilities

Attend internal program, customer, and supplier technical meetings.
Coordinate electrical design with other integration teams.
Develop PDPs/ADPs and manage from review to release.
Review schematics, wiring diagrams, parts data sheets and BOMs.
Perform electrical analyses and cable sizing calculations.
Prepare technical reports and present design concepts to stakeholders.
