Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Principal/Senior Principal Electrical Engineer for the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. The role focuses on electrical design for facility power systems supporting weapon systems, requiring strong collaboration and communication.

Candidates must have STEM degrees with substantial experience and hold an active Secret clearance or higher. Relocation may be available, with a competitive benefits package and a 9/80 work schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 5 years of experience, or Master’s with 3 years, or PhD with 0 years.
• Active US Secret clearance or higher with SAP eligibility.
• Experience with power system design/analysis tools and ground/launch power systems.
• Familiarity with IEEE, NEC, NESC, NFPA, IEC, UFC standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze electrical power generation, conversion, and distribution for ground systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders during reviews and milestones.
• Document electrical system engineering content and deliverables.
• Lead and mentor team members, promoting inclusion and collaboration.
• Ensure alignment with schedule, costs, and technical milestones.
