Job summary

RTX BBN Technologies in Cambridge, MA seeks an Electrical Engineer to develop hardware for detecting and analyzing physical phenomena. You will work on analog and digital circuits, sensors, and real-time control systems, collaborating with government clients and a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a strong background in circuit design, simulation, and testing, plus eligibility for U.S. security clearance. Hybrid work is available, with onsite presence at our Cambridge headquarters.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and experience in hardware design or an advanced degree with related experience.
• Experience designing hardware for analog and digital circuits with verification/test.
• Proficiency with circuit simulation tools (Spice, LTSpice, MATLAB).

Responsibilities

• Develop DCLT systems to operate in high-noise environments.
• Design and develop custom payloads for autonomous vehicle guidance/control.
• Develop real-time control systems for physical hardware.
• Plan portions of large programs and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead design workflow from requirements to test and production.
• Support proposals and present to prospective customers.
