Job summary

RTX BBN Technologies in Cambridge, MA, is seeking an experienced engineer focusing on signal processing, sensing, and control systems to join our Physical Sciences and Systems group. You will develop models, run data-driven simulations, and prototype solutions for government projects.

You will collaborate with a world-class team, plan small projects, and contribute to proposals and presentations. This onsite role requires an active U.S. security clearance and can involve some travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with relevant work experience in signal processing and physical systems.
• Hands-on experience collecting and analyzing data with experimental equipment.
• U.S. citizen with active security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural dynamic and acoustic models and related signal processing schemes.
• Perform data analysis including spectral processing and transfer function analysis.
• Develop control systems and architectures to affect performance of physical systems.
• Support real-time implementation and evaluation in mission scenarios.
• Develop detection/classification algorithms against state-of-the-art threats.
• Plan and coordinate tasks, contribute to proposals and white papers, and present to customers.
