Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing group. In this role, you will be involved in the engineering and design of data centers and other mission-critical facilities. This position offers flexibility to work from any location in the United States with an emphasis on producing high-quality design work through collaboration.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including knowledge of low voltage distribution systems and familiarity with industry standards. Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in engineering design of electrical systems.
• Extensive experience with industrial facility design.
• Data center facility design experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to engineering and design of data centers.
• Assist directly with construction on site.
• Manage quality, scope, budget, and schedule.

Skills

Engineering design of low voltage distribution systems

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)

Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Education
