Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior M/E Engineer to lead complex mechanical, electrical and field construction activities on large industrial, data center, and semiconductor projects. You will manage estimating, scheduling, quality control, and commissioning for M/E scopes, and drive data collection, system analysis, and bid development.

With a focus on safety and quality, you will mentor others and contribute to preconstruction decisions, bid analyses, and value engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering or related field.
• 10+ years construction management experience.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Experience leading M/E estimates and bid analysis.
• Familiarity with safety and quality plans.

Responsibilities

• Learns and actively participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Completes entry level and routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Develops budgetary M/E estimates based on program information using automated estimating system.
• Assists in review of mechanical and electrical options; completes systems analysis for select projects.
• Develops mechanical and electrical scopes of work for bid coordination.
• Assists with bid analysis and subcontractor selection input.
