Job summary

JE Dunn’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks an M/E Engineer 2 to perform routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities on flagship data center, industrial, and semiconductor projects. You will collect data, help develop estimates, and support bid analysis under supervision.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and coordination across design and subcontractor teams. Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years' experience required; proficiency with M/E estimating tools and plans reading

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years construction and/or engineering experience.
• Ability to read and understand plans, drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to participate in safety and quality programs.

Responsibilities

• Learns and actively participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Completes entry level and routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Learns how to develop budgetary M/E estimates using automated estimating system.
• Assists in review of mechanical/electrical options during preconstruction and performs systems analysis.
• Develops mechanical and electrical scopes of work for bid coordination.
• Assists with bid analysis and subcontractor selection input.
