Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an M/E Engineer 2 to perform routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities, collecting data and helping to develop estimates. This role supports preconstruction, bid analysis, and coordination with subcontractors across advanced facilities projects.

You will learn and participate in safety plans, progress through a defined career path, and contribute to delivering high‑quality systems on data center, semiconductor, and industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or architectural engineering or related field.
• 2+ years construction and/or engineering experience.
• Ability to follow safety and quality plans and culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing budgetary M/E estimates based on program and schematic design information.
• Review mechanical and electrical options as part of the preconstruction process.
• Develop mechanical and electrical scopes of work for bid coordination.
• Assist with bid analysis and subcontractor selection inputs.
• Support commissioning and shop drawing/submittal processes to meet contract requirements.
