Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an M/E Engineer 3 for complex mechanical, electrical and field construction activities. You will collect data, develop estimates and generate systems and bid analyses to support project strategy and values.

The role advances through core responsibilities, participates in safety plans, and contributes to constructability reviews while coordinating with design and field teams on large industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, architectural engineering or related field.
• 5+ years construction and/or engineering experience (Preferred).
• Valid and unrestricted drivers license required.

Responsibilities

• Learns and participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Develops budgetary M/E estimates using program and schematic design information.
• Reviews mechanical and electrical options and performs systems analysis.
• Coordinates the mechanical and electrical scopes during the bid process.
• Develops sequencing requirements of various systems to meet the schedule.
• Provides input during subcontractor selection and bid analysis.
