Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking an M/E Engineer 2 for its Advanced Facilities group, focusing on data center and large industrial projects. You’ll perform routine M/E construction activities, assist in cost estimates, and support bid and commissioning processes.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree with 2+ years in construction or engineering, demonstrating strong teamwork and technical skills within a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 2+ years of construction or engineering experience required.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Develop budgetary M/E estimates from program and schematic design information using automated M/E estimating system.
• Assist in the review of mechanical and electrical options as part of the preconstruction process and complete systems analysis for select projects.
• Assist in developing the mechanical and electrical scopes of work used to coordinate during the bid process.
• Assist with bid analysis and input during subcontractor selection process.
• Participate in commissioning with pre-functional checklists and testing procedures.
