Job summary

HDR Engineering is seeking an Electrical/Senior Electrical Engineer to join our data center and mission-critical project teams. The role includes designing projects end-to-end, coordinating with clients, PMs, architects, and other disciplines, and mentoring junior engineers.

Candidates should hold a PE license, have a Bachelor's in Electrical or Architectural Engineering, and experience in electrical design of buildings with preference for data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• PE license required.
• Experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems).
• Experience with data center/mission critical projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and manage junior staff and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead electrical design for data centers and mission-critical projects.
• Develop feasibility reports, construction documents, specifications, and engineering calculations.
• Perform RFI responses, shop drawing reviews, and site investigations.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, architects, and other disciplines.
• Travel to job sites as needed.
