Job summary

HDR is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a leading TMT practice in the United States. The role involves designing electrical systems for data centers and mission critical facilities, mentoring junior engineers, and coordinating with a broad team of professionals.

The candidate will develop construction documents, calculations, and RFI responses, and support field observations and construction administration as required. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting, power, and systems).
• Strong computer skills using AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, AGI and Easy Power.

Responsibilities

• Design projects from start to finish for data centers and mission critical facilities.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, architects and other engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop feasibility studies, construction documents, specifications, calculations and RFI responses.
• Support construction administration including shop drawing reviews and site observations.
