Job summary

FläktGroup is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the electrical design of data center cooling equipment from concept through production release and field commissioning. You will develop UL 508A-compliant control panels and complete schematic packages using EPLAN Electric P8 and AutoCAD Electrical.

You will perform all required NEC/UL calculations and support cross-functional teams globally, including FAT/SAT and field issue resolution, with 25–30% travel to US and international sites.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• 8+ years of electrical design experience in industrial equipment, HVAC/mechanical equipment, control panels, or mission-critical infrastructure.
• Expert-level proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8 and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Proven ownership of UL 508A panel designs, including SCCR calculations per Supplement SB.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete electrical schematic packages and UL 508A-compliant control panels.
• Perform FLA/MCA/MOP and other NEC/UL calculations for complete units.
• Coordinate with controls engineering, vendors, and panel builders; review drawings and provide technical direction.
• Support FAT/SAT, field troubleshooting, and engineering disposition of issues.
