Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical design efforts across complex projects in the Advanced Technology & Life Sciences Division. The role covers developing specs, coordinating with disciplines, and delivering electrical deliverables for data centers, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical facilities.

You will review vendor documentation, support procurement, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring compliance with project objectives and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical design for data centers, manufacturing, or industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and NEC basics.
• Ability to interpret specifications and develop construction deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Act as Electrical Discipline focal point for projects.
• Coordinate Electrical Design with other engineering disciplines.
• Develop and review SLDs, equipment layouts, power plans, lighting plans, grounding, and distribution drawings.
• Support construction and commissioning activities as required.
