Job summary

FläktGroup SEMCO, United States, seeks a Senior Controls Solutions Senior Engineer to own end-to-end controls architecture for data center cooling platforms, including CRAH, CRAC, FWU, and CDU. You will lead SOO design, code development, and performance testing, serving as SME and customer-facing engineering leader.

This role requires 7+ years of HVAC controls, DDC/PLC experience, and strong BACnet/IP and Modbus skills, with travel as required and a hybrid work model in the U.S.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Controls engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in HVAC/BAS controls with DDC/PLC programming and BMS integration.
• Proven ownership of architecture, code reviews, and release control.
• Experience leading FAT/SAT/IST and field issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Define controls architecture for U.S. air-side and liquid-side platforms.
• Lead SOO design, code reviews, and testing standards.
• Develop 'Fast Start' and 'Rapid Restart' sequences to minimize thermal spikes.
• Oversee FAT/SAT/IST and vendor/customer support during commissioning.
