Job summary

Akshar Staffing is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive end-to-end electrical system design for data center HVAC products. You will create and validate panels, wiring harnesses, and control systems, ensuring NEC/UL compliance and robust reliability in demanding environments.

You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams, manage complex projects, and support field installations. Occasional travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and document electrical systems for data center HVAC products, including panels, power distribution and wiring harnesses.
• Develop and maintain electrical 3D models, schematics and drawings for production.
• Design electrical and controls panels including structural integrity and test.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, controls, manufacturing and test teams for seamless integration.
• Apply NEC, UL 60335-2-40, UL-508 and NFPA standards for safety and performance.
• Lead complex New Product Development, Sustaining, Engineer-to-Order and Field Installation projects.
• Size and test low voltage equipment, cables, harnesses and components.
• Maintain configuration control of drawings, ECOs, and documentation.
