Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer in its Chandler office to lead electrical design for complex building and industrial systems. You will manage schedules, coordinate with architectural, mechanical, and other teams, and deliver comprehensive design packages.

The role requires a PE in NM or AZ with 10+ years of experience in power distribution, NFPA standards, and field construction support. Office-based with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (Electrical) in NM or AZ.
• 10 years of experience in electrical engineering and power design.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, and utility-scale systems.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead and design manager on multiple projects.
• Establish schedules and monitor design timelines.
• Coordinate cross-discipline design with architects and engineers.
• Prepare site analyses, feasibility studies, and construction documents.
• Provide construction administration and RFI responses.
• Interface with AHJ for permitting and code interpretation.
• Model electrical systems using SKM/ETAP or equivalent tools.
