Job summary

AEVEX Corp. in Florida is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer 3 to design, develop and maintain electrical systems for unmanned platforms, including avionics, battery subsystems, RF links, and PCB design from schematic to layout.

You will lead engineering teams, collaborate across functions, review PCB designs, ensure compliance with military standards, and drive reliability through testing and quality processes.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering or related field required; MS preferred but not required.
• Strong background in PCB design, power electronics, and avionics.
• Experience with military standards and reliability considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test electrical systems for UAVs and related platforms.
• Lead PCB design reviews from schematic to layout and verification.
• Collaborate with avionics, embedded, and RF teams to optimize performance.
• Develop wiring diagrams, schematics, and control systems.
• Plan and oversee installation, operation and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Lead teams of engineers and technicians to resolve issues and improve reliability.
