Job summary

SSOE seeks a Mid-to-Senior Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for automotive, battery, and industrial facilities across multiple locations in the US. The role requires PE eligibility or licensure and 8+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity.
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial/manufacturing facilities.
• Strong understanding of facility electrical infrastructure including medium- and low-voltage systems, MCCs, switchgear, and grounding.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of electrical systems for automotive, manufacturing, battery, and industrial facility projects.
• Serve as Engineer of Record and technical lead on projects of varying complexity and size.
• Develop electrical power distribution from utility service through facility distribution networks.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, controls, structural, civil, and architecture teams.
