Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Mid-to-Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and execution of electrical systems for automotive, manufacturing, battery, and industrial facility projects. You will serve as Engineer of Record and coordinate across disciplines, with a focus on safe, reliable, cost-effective solutions.

You will work with clients and project teams across multiple locations, with hybrid or fully remote options, and participate in ownership programs and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity.
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial/manufacturing facilities.
• Experience with automotive, battery manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, and other industrial facilities.
• Strong client-facing communication and project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of electrical systems for automotive and industrial facilities.
• Serve as Engineer of Record and technical lead on projects.
• Develop electrical power distribution from utility to facility distribution.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams and clients throughout project development.
• Mentor junior engineers and support business development.
• Perform design reviews, estimates, schedules, and staffing plans.
• Review vendor documentation and interface with utility services.
