This position involves performing electrical design engineering tasks for small projects or segments of larger projects, exercising independent judgment, and making minor design modifications. The role requires setting clear objectives and investigating a limited set of variables.
A 4-year engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program and 10+ years of related experience in electrical engineering within the Built Environment are typically required. Experience with computer software and automated design tools is necessary. Candidates should possess a Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Certification and be working towards Professional Engineering (PE) Registration, which should be attained within two years.
