Job description

Our client, a leading consulting firm specializing in power infrastructure. (Utility and Clean Energy) is seeking a motivated Sr. Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will supporting electrical design projects and serving as in-house engineering for our electrical contracting operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform electrical design work for a variety of projects, including utility, Clean Energy and Critical Power.
• Develop and analyze single-line diagrams, Arc-Flash Studies, Specifications, and coordinate technical procurement.
• Ensure designs comply with industry best practices, codes, and regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to deliver subject matter expertise.
• Participate in occasional site visits and field inspections to ensure project specifications are met.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, estimates, and technical reports.
• Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering and incorporate new technologies and methodologies into designs.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Must currently hold a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM PowerTools.
• Previous experience in utility, clean energy, or federal designs.
• Knowledge of federal contracting requirements and procedures.

This position can be remote as long as the candidate is home based out of one the following locations :

• Phoenix, Arizona
• Tampa, Florida
• Houston, Texas
• Austin, Texas
