Senior Electrical Engineer – Renewable Energy (PV / BESS)

Remote | Full-Time | U.S. Based

Our client is hiring their first electrical engineering lead into a brand-new division at a fast-growing renewable energy EPC . If you're passionate about solar, storage, and building something from the ground up, this is your chance to make your mark .

What You’ll Do

• Own the electrical design of utility-scale PV and BESS projects (cable / OCPD sizing, grounding, ampacity, etc.)
• Create preconstruction drawings, technical docs, and optimization studies.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure constructable, cost-efficient design solutions.
• Review, refine, and QC designs from junior engineers and drafters.
• Provide high-level technical input during bidding and early project stages .
• Help build and mentor a growing engineering team.

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years in renewable energy engineering (PV / BESS preferred).
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in CYMCAP, ETAP, PVSYST , and Microsoft Office.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication ️.
• U.S. work authorization is required.
